That is me in 2018 at my first poetry open mic night at Busboys & Poets in Hyattsville, Maryland. It was magical, like my first film festival. But this time it was a lot more personal. I really liked that. It took me back to the coffee shop scenes of the 1960's and 70's when I was a kid. To a time where everything seemed possible and love was in the air.
My guardian angel is the Angel of Death
Like the sword of Damocles. Its ever imposing presence colors my life. And I find it comforting knowing that there is certainty in the world

Except for the first book’s cover art which was done by a street artist in South Korea all other cover art was made by my son Jacob. He is so cool.
